It is a common TechCrunch Live the founders to talk about fundraising by turning them on their final platform. But Deel general manager Alex Bouaziz did not have a platform to share. That’s because Deel raised $ 629 million without it.
Instead, Andreessen Horowitz partner Anish Acharya set out to lead A16z company A, Acharya explained at Bouaziz Tech along with Crunch Live on Wednesday.
During our conversation, we touched on several important areas, including how to raise without a stadium floor. Acharya, founder of the series with extensive fundraising and investment experience, Deel acceleration comes from Bouaziz.

“I think it’s hard to meet Alex and not get the necessary attention,” Acharya said. “And that’s how many of the founders are the best. There is this sense of speed, and they are in a hurry – Alex is always in a hurry.”
Acharya repeated this article several times during the debate.
“There is a feeling it will happen, whether I am part of it or not.” FOMO led Acharya to produce a16z so that Deel’s founding team understood that the investment company knew how to take advantage of the market.
When asked what the A16z stadium looks like, Acharya smiled and said he could not reveal all his secrets.
